On Thursday, June 2, Amityville Memorial High School held a Senior Awards Ceremony. Many students were recognized with a variety of scholarships and awards. It was an exciting moment for all to witness.
The Bay Village Civic Association was pleased to once again grant scholarships to students with outstanding records of community service as well as academic achievement. However, this year, the choice was particularly difficult for a very good reason. There were many applicants who were well qualified.
The recipients were Andrew Abate, Kenneth Dinnoo, Vanessa Ottey and Jaime Ruiz-Marcelo. Congratulations are extended to all winners, and their families. Their achievements and values bode well for their future, and that of our community.
Pictured here are the BVCA scholarship winners, as named above. Most are with BVCA President, Joan Donnison, at the Awards Ceremony. Good luck to all.
